Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains what information Sticker Scene: Isometric Art (the "App") and the stickerscene.app website (the "Site") collect, why, and what you can do about it. Sticker Scene is made by tymh.app, based in the European Union ("we", "us", "our").

In short: you don't need an account, your scenes stay in your own iCloud, and the analytics we collect are not linked to your name, email or Apple ID. We don't sell your data and we don't track you across other companies' apps or websites.

1. Who Is Responsible

tymh.app is the data controller for the information described here. You can reach us at support@stickerscene.app.

2. Information We Collect

2.1 Your Scenes

Your scenes, sticker placements and settings are stored on your device. If iCloud is turned on for the App, they sync between your devices through your private iCloud database (Apple CloudKit). We have no access to this data.

2.2 Usage Analytics

The App sends usage analytics to PostHog, hosted on PostHog's EU servers. This includes:

• A random identifier created when the App is installed, not linked to your name, email or Apple ID
• Device model, operating system, app version, language and region
• How the App is used, such as which screens are opened, studio choices, scene guide progress and purchase screens shown
• Totals such as the number of scenes, shares and stickers used, and which packs are most popular
• The product purchased when you subscribe (never payment details)

PostHog receives your IP address as part of each request and may use it to estimate an approximate location (country or city). We use analytics only to understand how the App is used and to improve it. PostHog is also used to switch features on or off remotely.

2.3 Notifications

If you turn on new-pack notifications, the App subscribes to announcements through Apple CloudKit and Apple Push Notification service. Apple handles delivery; we don't receive your device token. You can turn notifications off at any time in the App or in your device settings.

2.4 Photos

When you save a scene image, the App asks for permission to add it to your photo library. It can only add photos; it cannot read your library.

2.5 Sticker Packs and Updates

The App downloads new sticker packs from stickerscene.app and checks the App Store for a newer version of the App, sending your region so the right store listing is used. As with any download, these servers see your IP address. No other information is sent.

2.6 On-Device Processing

Images are processed on your device using Apple's Vision framework. They are never uploaded.

2.7 Support Messages

If you email us or leave feedback on our roadmap board, we receive your email address and whatever you choose to include, and use it only to reply and improve the App.

2.8 The Website

The Site uses PostHog to measure visits, such as pages viewed and clicks on App Store links. It stores nothing in your browser: no cookies and no local storage. Visitors are counted using a one-way hash that is reset every day, so a visit on one day cannot be linked to a visit on another. Store ratings and reviews shown on the Site are loaded from the App Store.

3. In-App Purchases and Subscriptions

All payments are processed by Apple through the App Store. We never see or store your payment details. Apple may collect purchase-related data for billing, fraud prevention and transaction history. See Apple's Privacy Policy and Apple's Media Services Terms.

• Managing subscriptions: open Settings on your device, tap your name, then Subscriptions.
• Auto-renewal: subscriptions renew automatically unless turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours before the period ends.
• Free trials: any unused part of a free trial is forfeited when you purchase a subscription.
• Refunds: refunds are handled by Apple under its refund policy. Request a refund from Apple.

4. Service Providers

• Apple: iCloud sync, notifications, App Store purchases and app updates
• PostHog: usage analytics and feature flags (EU hosting)
• Amazon Web Services: hosting for the Site and sticker pack downloads
• Featurebase: our public roadmap and feedback board, if you choose to use it

We don't sell, rent or share your information for advertising.

5. Legal Basis (EU/EEA and UK)

We process analytics data on the basis of our legitimate interest in understanding and improving the App, using data that is not linked to your identity. We process support messages to respond to your request, and purchase data to provide what you bought.

6. Retention

Your scenes stay on your device and in your iCloud until you delete them. Analytics data is kept only as long as it is useful for improving the App and is then deleted. Support emails are kept as long as needed to help you.

7. Your Rights and Choices

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete or object to the processing of your data, to restrict it, to data portability, and to complain to your local data protection authority. Because analytics are not linked to your identity, we may need the analytics identifier to find your data; email us at support@stickerscene.app and we'll help.

• Deleting your scenes: delete them in the App. Deleting the App removes data on that device, but scenes synced to iCloud remain until you remove them in Settings → [your name] → iCloud → Manage Storage.
• Notifications and photos: you can change these permissions at any time in your device settings.

8. Children

The App is suitable for all ages and does not ask anyone for personal information. We don't knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has sent us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes are posted on this page with a new "Last updated" date.
